💳 Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to all schools using Gradely.info, a school information and result-management platform powered by Remit Integrated Services.

1. Subscription Plans and Pricing

Gradely.info currently offers the following monthly subscription plans:

  • Basic Plan: ₦83,900 per month
  • Professional Plan: ₦89,700 per month

Prices may be updated from time to time. Where pricing changes, the updated price will be shown before payment is completed.

Payments are processed securely through Paystack. By completing payment, the School authorizes Gradely.info and Paystack to process the selected monthly subscription.

2. Subscription Billing and Auto-Renewal

Gradely.info subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Where auto-renewal is active, the subscription renews automatically every month using the payment method provided.

Schools may cancel auto-renewal from the Subscription page. Cancellation stops future recurring charges but does not immediately disable the current subscription.

3. Seven-Day Refund Window

A School may request a refund within seven (7) calendar days of a successful payment if:

  • The subscription was purchased in error;
  • The School has not substantially used the platform or its premium features;
  • The refund request is submitted within the seven-day refund window.

Refund requests submitted after seven (7) calendar days may not be eligible for a refund. Gradely.info may review account activity before approving or declining a refund request.

4. Duplicate or Accidental Charges

If a School is charged more than once for the same subscription transaction due to a payment processing error, Gradely.info will issue a full refund for the duplicate charge after verification.

The School may be required to provide the Paystack transaction reference, payment date, and supporting information.

5. Subscription Cancellation

Schools may cancel auto-renewal at any time from the Subscription page.

  • Cancellation stops future recurring charges;
  • Cancellation does not immediately terminate access;
  • The School will continue to access paid features until the current subscription expiry date;
  • Cancellation does not automatically qualify the School for a refund.

6. Subscription Upgrades

When upgrading from the Basic Plan to the Professional Plan, the new subscription fee becomes payable immediately.

Once the upgrade payment is successfully processed, Professional Plan features are activated. Upgrade payments are generally non-refundable once successfully processed and activated, except where required by law or where Gradely.info approves a refund under this Policy.

7. Subscription Downgrades

Schools may downgrade their subscription plan at any time. Downgrades take effect immediately and do not require additional payment. No refund, credit, or prorated adjustment will be provided for any unused portion of the higher-tier plan. Future recurring charges will be based on the downgraded plan unless the School upgrades again before the next billing cycle:

  • Features attached to the higher plan may become unavailable immediately;
  • No refund, credit, or prorated adjustment will be provided for unused portions of the higher-tier subscription;
  • The School is responsible for checking feature differences before confirming a downgrade.

Important: Downgrading from the Professional Plan to the Basic Plan may affect access to features such as higher student limits, bulk-upload features, SMS/email alerts, or priority support where applicable.

8. SMS and Notification Features

SMS, email, or notification features, where included in a subscription plan, are provided subject to fair usage limits, third-party delivery availability, and service reliability.

Gradely.info does not currently sell separate SMS-credit bundles to schools. Therefore, unused notification access is not refundable as a separate cash item.

9. Service Interruptions

If Gradely.info experiences a significant service disruption or technical issue that materially affects service availability, Gradely.info may, at its discretion, extend the affected subscription period or provide equivalent service credits.

Subscription extensions are the preferred remedy for verified service disruptions.

10. Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds will not be granted in the following circumstances:

  • Change of mind after the seven-day refund window;
  • Failure to use the service after successful activation;
  • Failure to cancel auto-renewal before the next billing date;
  • Services already consumed or substantially used;
  • Violation of the Terms of Service;
  • Fraud, abuse, unlawful activity, or misuse of the platform;
  • Account suspension or termination caused by the School’s breach of Gradely.info policies.

11. Account Suspension or Termination

Where a School account is suspended or terminated due to breach of the Terms of Service, fraud, abuse, unauthorized access attempts, false information, or any activity that compromises the platform, Gradely.info is under no obligation to issue a refund.

12. Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds are generally processed within three (3) to five (5) business days. Actual bank or card settlement time may vary depending on Paystack, the School’s bank, or the payment method used.

13. How to Request a Refund

Refund requests should be sent to support@gradely.info and must include:

  1. School Name;
  2. School ID or Admin ID;
  3. Registered email address;
  4. Paystack transaction reference;
  5. Payment date;
  6. Reason for the refund request.

Gradely.info may request additional information to verify ownership of the account and payment transaction.

14. Dispute Resolution

Before commencing any formal legal action, the School and Gradely.info agree to make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes amicably through direct communication and negotiation.

Both parties shall first attempt to resolve the matter through customer support, billing review, and management escalation within a reasonable period before pursuing formal legal remedies.

15. Policy Changes

Gradely.info may update this Refund and Cancellation Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be published on this page and will become effective upon publication. Continued usage constitutes your legal consent to this policy.
