This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to all schools using the Gradely Info Portal (gradely.info). By registering your school, you agree to these terms.
1. Subscription Plans
We offer two monthly subscription plans:
- Basic Plan: ₦83,900 per month
- Pro Plan: ₦89,700 per month
All payments are processed securely via Paystack. Subscriptions renew automatically each month unless canceled.
2. Plan Changes: Upgrades & Downgrades
Upgrading from Basic to Pro
When you upgrade from the Basic Plan to the Pro Plan:
- You will be charged the price difference for the remainder of your current billing cycle
- Example: If you upgrade halfway through your month, you'll pay ₦2,900 (half of ₦5,800 difference)
- Your Pro features activate immediately upon successful payment
- Your next full monthly billing date remains unchanged
Downgrading from Pro to Basic
When you downgrade from the Pro Plan to the Basic Plan:
- No refunds are issued for the unused portion of your Pro subscription
- Your Pro features remain active until the end of your current billing cycle
- After your cycle ends, your account switches to Basic Plan features
- Your next billing date remains unchanged, but you'll be charged the Basic Plan rate (₦83,900)
💡 Pro Tip: Plan changes take effect immediately for upgrades, but downgrades wait until your billing cycle ends to ensure you get full value from your current payment.
3. Refund Policy
We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee from the date of your first payment if:
- You are unable to set up your school account successfully
- Core features (result upload, parent login, PDF generation) do not work
- You were charged incorrectly
How to Request a Refund
Email us at: support@gradely.info with:
- School name
- Email used during registration
- Proof of payment (screenshot or transaction ID)
- Reason for refund
Refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days and returned to the original payment method.
When Refunds Are Not Allowed
No refunds will be issued after 2 days of successful onboarding, including if:
- You simply changed your mind
- Your staff failed to complete setup
- You uploaded data and used the system beyond testing
- You downgraded from Pro to Basic (no refunds for plan downgrades)
Tip: Test thoroughly in the first 2 days!
4. Cancellation Policy
You can cancel your subscription at any time.
How to Cancel
- Send an email to support@gradely.info titled: "Cancel Subscription"
- Include your School Name and Admin ID
- We'll confirm and deactivate auto-renewal
Alternatively, request cancellation through the Kaima chatbot on our website.
What Happens After Cancellation?
- Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing cycle
- You can continue using Gradely during this period
- After the cycle ends, your access will be suspended
- Data is retained for 30 days before permanent deletion
Note: Your data is never sold or shared.
5. Service Suspension for Non-Payment
If your payment fails and is not resolved within 7 days, your subscription will be suspended. You will:
- Lose access to the admin dashboard
- See "Results Unavailable" on the parent portal
- Be notified by email and SMS
You can reactivate by updating payment details and completing the next payment.
6. No Partial Refunds
We do not offer partial refunds for unused portions of a billing period. For example:
- If you cancel halfway through the month → no refund
- If you use only one week → full charge applies
- If you downgrade from Pro to Basic → no refund for unused Pro time
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance.
7. Technical Issues & Downtime
While we strive for 99.9% uptime:
- No refunds are given for temporary downtime (< 24 hours)
- Extended outages (> 72 hours) may qualify for service credit or partial refund at management discretion
8. Policy Changes
We may update this policy periodically. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our service constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
